Sisters, Goofs, and Cracks

Sunglasses are an awesome toy, did you know that?   Especially when they're Dad's and you get greasy fingerprints all over them, so next time he wears them, the world is all smudgy.

Somebody has attitude :D
Not really, but one can hope!

Kay Leigh on a four wheeler...scary!

Although she is checking for traffic before she starts out...

Ever see people doing this on the freeway??  Looking where they've been while still
moving forward...she should do real well in about 13 years :P

She absolutely loves this thing though, and I have to admit she's stinkin' cute on it!

Carolyn and Bekah went to a special nature presentation about owls, and
turned into owls while they were there!!   They are pretty cute owls, except what's up with Carolyn's face?

There that's better, hide behind Bekah :D

Kay wanted a picture of her marble...

I wanted a picture of Kay Leigh, this was the best I got :D

You're really wondering about cracks aren't you?
It's rather cryptic...until you scroll down....

THE END!    HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
P. S.     I'm going to invest in a belt for this one!!

Easter, Family Photos, and Football

So, it's been awhile, yet again, since I did a blog post.  What can I say, life moves at an unending pace, and my summer was spent outside, trying to stay on top of all the yard work, plus a vacation, and other....things. Therefore, I shall begin where I sort of left off.  Easter!   Here's Trav and all the kids, ready for church...

and here's me and all the kids, still ready for church...running a bit late by this time...

We went to church, got there a bit late, but all in one piece.  Then went to Trav's grandparents for Easter Sunday dinner, long a tradition.  They also dye eggs and hunt them over and over.  I did not get pictures this year, whoops, I think I was napping??
But I thought I'd get some family pictures done while the kids were dressed up.
Got Kay Leigh...

Handsome Gregory...

Precious Carolyn...

Smiley Beka :D

Then we thought maybe some of all of us....well, the sun was really bright as you can see by Trav's really squinty eyes, Kay was tired, and these next three are what we got.  Not too great, unless you want to post them on Horrible Family Pictures.  We gave up. But you might be somewhat entertained :D

So we just got one of Travis and I...it was incredibly bright out!!!  And my hair was really blond, yikes!

Greg decided to play some football...

never realizing this little imp was up to something...

Bwah hah haha!!

Running from Greg....

He took it away, boo hoo.

After this we had dinner and I took a nap, and totally failed to
capture any of the rest of the activities that day.  Happy Belated Easter :D

Memories, Little Goomers, and Funny Babies

I was watching pictures of the kids the other day, they were soooo small, I'd forgotten.
I went to my computer to see what I had.  They grow so fast!!  This was just three and a half years ago for Pete's sake!!
Aren't they so cute!

And this was me, waiting for Kay Leigh, probably early winter, in our tiny little duplex, Travis was in school and hardly ever home...

And then end of  February, along comes sweet little Kay Leigh, she was so sweet, and since I knew she was my last,
I took extra time with her and enjoyed her all the more.  Look at dem chubby wubby cheeks, sigh...

And just like that, there were the four of them, all complete, just right!

Kay has been the perfect addition, fits RIGHT in :D  As you can see!!

Loved seeing the old pics for a change, hope you do too!!

Spy Gear, Crackers, and Beka

An Invention,  by Gregory Dean
Ready for this??

So here's a door, with a paper plate, and string, and bettery yet, rubber band.

Notice that the rubber band and string are on the light switch, which is on...

Oh no, someone is coming in the room, without being invited, spying on
Greg's other classified, highly secret Lego creations...

And??   The light is turned off, alerting Greg to a potential secret stealer.

Impressive, no??  Yes :D

Monkey hats anyone??  We have four, and I must say they are pretty cute, the kids that is, in their hats :D
They are preparing to brave the snow, notice Kay's broom, only the essentials!!

Story here, note girls, on floor, Cheez-it's in hand.  Also notice dog appearing in background,
much like Snoopy would in the old Peanuts comics.  I swear he could hear us
chewing marshmallows too!!

Whoops, choked a bit on that Cheez-it, Carolyn is getting that itch in the nose...Bogey appears to
be getting fed....

Carolyn, "What did you feed the dog for?"  Kay, "Look at me, I'm cute,
that's why I did it!"  Bogey isn't commenting, since his mouth is full.

Carolyn, "Mom, Kay Leigh just gave Bogey a Cheez-it, and now he's
CHEWING it!!"  Kay,  "Mmmmphumbmph."  Bogey is still eating..

Oop, there he is, back again, looking veerry hopeful, if he watches the Cheez-it
closely, it might just jump out of Carolyn's hand.  Kay just noticed that's he's sitting there again.

Carolyn, being who she is, see's an opportunity!! " Let's tease the dog with the Cheez-it!!
It'll be fun!"  Kay, "Sure!  I'll hold him, you wave it around."

"Aw man!! He got it!"   Bogey, out of the side of his mouth, "Heh heh, fooled 'em that time!"

"Kay, "Uhhhh, I'm not sure that's a good idea, remember last time??"  Bogey, "Hey Carolyn, look at that over there!"

"Hey great idea!  Let's both hold them up!!"  Of course, the dog got more than his fair share of crackers,
and the girls were entertained for a few minutes.  That's why I have a dog.

I had a story about Greg, and one of Carolyn and Kay, but none of Beka.  She stays
away from the camera, haven't any idea why...oh wait :D
